Why does my drain keep blocking?
Repeat blockages in the same place almost always mean a defect: a displaced joint, a partial collapse, root ingress, or a run laid at too shallow a fall. Clearing it only buys time until the defect is fixed.
Around the Clyde Valley we see a lot of root ingress from mature trees and hedging, plus old clay and pitch-fibre pipework that has deformed with age.
A CCTV survey shows exactly which metre of pipe is at fault, so a repair can be a short dig rather than replacing a whole run on guesswork.
