Which boiler is right for my house?
A combi suits most one-bathroom homes with decent mains pressure. Larger houses, properties with two or more bathrooms, and rural homes on weak mains are usually better served by a system boiler with an unvented cylinder.
Plenty of houses around Lanark, Biggar and the outlying villages have poor incoming mains flow. Fitting a big combi to a weak main gives you a lukewarm shower no matter how good the boiler is, so we measure flow rate before recommending anything.
